Or that is what I would say if I were in a particular poetic mood (and had the qualifications for such words).
After titling the edited piece, I realized that there is only one wing in the sketch...
Hm. The dilemma.
So I have decided that, in accordance with the title, the other wing is still in the process of a thought.
Or so that is what I would like to believe.
Again, another scrapbook piece. (I doubt that I will often put up a piece that is truly "ready-for-display" due to real life circumstances.) This sketch began perhaps 3 years ago, but I did not finish my final pencil edits until late last year (2008).
I actually like the piece. If not for the androgynous nature of the character. Mind you, the character started out female; however, several of my peers disagreed...
(Something about the chin is too masculine, or so I am told.)
...So now the gender of this character shall be left up to individual opinion. **sweatdrop**
My favourite parts of the sketch are the wings (even though they gave me some trouble) and hairclips.
Time: on and off, totaling 6 hours (?) Medium: traditional; pencil & paper
Glad you like the wing design - I think I might attempt similar designs on my other sketches at some later date. Oddly enough, I was somewhat inspired by CLAMP for that wing. **laughs** Although otherwise, it was just me trying to stylize a bird's wing.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

So regardless of what we disagree on CLAMP...**bites**
Don't forget to eat breakfast this morning, Salamander-sensei.
